This study addressed the overall visitor experience, other services provided by the ship, the market served, operational structure, finances and revenue streams. Further to this, the image of the Jeanie Johnston, her identity and relationship with the Docklands, Ireland and international ports was also considered.
It includes recommendations for the short and long term with costs, timescale and tasks for implementation.

Scroope Design completed a number of projects for the Docklands Authority aimed at creating a tourism/leisure experiences for the newly launched Liffey Voyage tour service and reviewing the visitor experience provided on board the Jeanie Johnston. Scroope Design brought together a highly creative team with an in-depth understanding of the tourist experience in Ireland. For both products, their unique insights in to what makes a visitor attraction work provided us with a new way of looking at tourism products in the Docklands.
